Mid-Atlantic Basset Hound will be returning to Livingston Manor for the 2009 Trout Parade. (This year the parade is on 06/13) Last year’s float with the theme of “Bassetfish of the Catskills” was a hit, along with the various costumed hounds and their food slaves.

This year’s theme is “Basset Pirates of the Catskills”. Beware of low-slung furry and drooly basset pirates who enjoy diving into the crowd for belly rubs and sloppy kisses!

Rounding out their time in this lovely part of NY State will be a weekend of entertainment, good food and hospitality at the Shandelee Lake Inn. Gracious host and owner Ettore Mazzei has promised the group a wonderful venue for their event.

Mid-Atlantic Basset Hound Rescue is a 501c3 all volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue and welfare of basset hounds.
