Followers of the Shandelee lake in blog know that Mid-Atlantic Basset Hound Rescue were guests of ours earlier this year at the Inn. The group had been in town for the Trout Parade, which is held annually in Livingston Manor, NY. The parade features Live music, food, and of course marching Basset Hounds.

The group intends on returning to the inn for another year of basset hound, trout parade fun next year. In email to chef/propietor Ettore Mazzei, Suzanne Fitch says:
We had a good time at the event. Each year, we build on the number of participants. We feel fairly confident we could fill the Inn, guest house and cottage(s) next year
We’re very happy to hear that, we loved having Mid Atlantic Basset Hound Rescue and their many animals as our guests!
